WHSC Success at RWYC Tribute Autumn Series

This seven week series finished last Sunday 2nd November with notable succes for WHSC.  Four WHSC yachts entered the series in the  PY B fleet.  Racing took place in Plymouth Sound on Sunday mornings starting at 10.00am with all crews ashore for prizegiving at the RWYC by about 12.30.  These races and courses were some of the best of the season, with committee boat starts and true windward legs of over a mile.  Weather conditions were generally excellent with only one race cancelled due high winds.

There were a total of 13 entries in PYB and the overal results for WHSC were:

1st     Mint Julip 2       - Howard Irons - 8 points       ( 3 firsts)
2nd    Bootneck          - John Lewis    - 11 points    ( 1 first )
3rd     Echo               - John Barton   - 13 points    ( 2 firsts)
7th     B of the Bang    - Paul Hardy    - 40.5 points
