Welcome
Founded in the mid 1930s by a small group of dinghy enthusiasts, WHSC is one of the most famous sailing clubs on the Port of Plymouth, with a long and successful history of involvement in small boat racing. Over the years members have won many dinghy and small keelboat national and major regatta titles.
The new decade has heralded another major chapter in the enviable history of WHSC with the relocation of all its activities to the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club. Racing is conducted from the RPCYC line on Thursday evenings throughout the summer season with class starts for the National Squib Class, Charisma Class, Foxterrier Class, and Trapper 300 Class. In addition, WHSC will provide class racing, on demand, for any other small one design class. |
