One Design Fleets

Two classes currently sail with the West Hoe Sailing Club, please see below.
Squib;
The Squib Class is the backbone of West Hoe Sailing Club and although the fleet is relatively small the boats are very closely matched and enjoy terrific racing.

The local fleet are a very friendly crowd, enjoying a drink and a meal at the club after racing, and  an excellent and well supported annual Squib Fleet Dinner every Spring.

In 2012 it will once again be the turn of West Hoe Sailing Club to host to the Squib South Coast Championship which will be held over the weekend 8/9 September.    With the 2012 national championship being held at Dartmouth, 2012 should be a vintage year for the WHSC Squib fleet.

Trapper 300;

Trapper 300 PlymouthWith eleven Trapper 300's sailing in and around the Port of Plymouth, and three more spread within a short distance to either east or west of Plymouth's Sound, we have the largest accumulation of the boats outside the UK's Solent area.

The hope is to build on this strong foundation and increase the numbers of boats being actively sailed in the West Country's peninsular yet further.
