Welcome Founded
in the mid 1930s by a small
group of dinghy enthusiasts, West
Hoe Sailing Club is one of the premier sailing clubs in the Port of
Plymouth, with a long and successful history of involvement in small
boat racing. The Club has for many years been closely associated with
the Royal Western Yacht Club of England, and conducts racing on
Thursday evenings throughout the summer from the RWYC premises at Queen
Anne’s Battery. Regular racing is organised for the National
Squib Class, Charisma Class, Foxterrier Class, and Trapper
Class,
however, one
design racing is also offered
for J80s, J24s, and any
other small one design keelboat class
